Here is another colorway of the Jordan V. This colorway is sometimes known as the “Fire Red” V’s but incidentally there are also other V’s that have been dubbed “Fire Red”. The Shoe Features an all white leather outer with the clear netting for comfort and temperature control. The midsole is black with Fire-Red “teeth”. New to the 2013 retro model is the clear blue soles. These soles were designed to help eliminate unwanted yellowing of the clear soles. The inner boot of the Jordan V is fire red which accents the Jumpman on the heel of the shoe. Like most other Jordan V’s the tongue has clear netting that leads up to the 3M material at the top of the tongue. The 3M material is really an iconic on the Jordan V because it was the first shoe to use the technology. Around the ankle features extra thick padding and a higher cut than the previous Jordan IV. This helps keep the ankle safe and secure while playing basketball.
The shoe has been noted as being modeled after a WWII Mustang fighter jet and the shark teeth on the midsole really make that thought stick. Some models of the “Fire Red” Jordan V have been released with Jordan’s number 23 embroidered on the heel of the shoe. This particular release is the most plain of all “Fire Red” Jordan V being as it is mostly all white. Sneaker-heads can expect the Fire Red V’s to release many times due to their Original Colorway origins.
