The Wearable Shoe Tree covers the Ceiling and the sidewalls of the footwear they are installed in, up to the midsole of the footwear (about mid-laces). The extension of the Wearable Shoe Tree into the midsole protects the footwear beyond where the foot flexes allowing the thicker material around the laces to absorb the flexing of the material where creases are less likely to be noticed. By preventing the material of the toebox from folding in on itself, creasing and wrinkles are avoided.
For already worn footwear, the Wearable Shoe Tree makes present creasing less noticeable for newer looking footwear. Because of the shape and coverage that the Wearable Shoe Tree Offers, the material is lifted up into place.
The Construction of the Wearable Shoe Tree comprises of a plastic based shell that lines the interior of the Toe Box from the ceiling to the base in between the opposing sidewalls and the footwear’s insole. This full extension provides the necessary upward force to reinforce the entire toe box, preventing it from collapsing when the footwear is in use and not in use. The Wearable Shoe Tree is also molded to be wider than the standard toe box to provide an outward “push” to reinforce the sidewalls of the footwear keeping the shape perfect and intact. This construction allows our Wearable Shoe Tree to work independently of adhesives and keep the toebox and midsole from deflating or collapsing.
